“We Are BHC” celebrates the people who are using the Building Healthy Communities model to life and making changes that will deeply impact health in communities across the state. Now entering its sixth year, the 10-year Building Healthy Communities strategic plan has grown into a movement across 14 communities in California. Access to parks, safe, clean drinking water, health care, fruits and vegetables, schools that support the social-emotional health of students, opportunities for youth and more have been fought for and won by coalitions of residents and community-based organizations. And we still have five years to go to further strengthen their communities to ensure health and justice for all! Watch to hear more about the growing movement for health and justice for all!
